WebFeb 22, 2024 · The thing I am most interested in advice with is the issue of ink usage/waste. The Canon Pro 1000 is said to have scheduled automatic ink cleaning cycles that cannot be turned off. It is recommended that the printer is left on all the time. If it is turned off then back on, it goes through a cleaning cycle that uses even more ink.
