Web30 de abr. de 2024 · The belt lift using the Rino worm drive works very well in my corexy printer. Z artifacts are minimal-to-nonexistent and the bed doesn't move at all when power is cut. The particular Rino I used isn't guaranteed to be irreversible like some worm gear sets, but with the load applied by my printer it is. I based my printer on the D-Bot CoreXY by spauda01 on thingiverse, basically changing everything but the frame and motors. I'm using a custom direct drive extruder (HEAVY), DuetWiFi, BigBox Varipower bed, 24V, and some custom printed frame brackets.

But "normal" accel should land you somewhere between 2000 and 2500, maybe 3000. There are also builds that run higher accel, but i think thats a good starting point. Webaluminum extrusion is dirt cheap, the biggest cost factor are stepper motors, electronics and the linear motion system.
